by MilesQToast on 2009-06-24 16:34:48 last night the hot chick that lives above me knocked on my door at 1:00am. I didn't open it because A. I had just gone to bed and was barely dressed. B, the kittens were being a nuisance, and C, I didn't want to get embroiled in some late night craziness that was going to have me up til dawn (the first week I moved in to my place in tampa, I ended up driving this hispanic lady who couldn't speak a word of english all the way downtown for her job without having any idea what was going on or where we were going the whole way so I'm gun-shy about helping neighbors). A guy (I saw through the peephole) walked past walking his dog and was like "hey" and she was like "hi there" in a normal tone of voice so I knew she wasn't in any sort of dire situation or I probably would have opened up. Also I'm pretty sure she lives there with her bf/husband. afterwards I heard what sounded like a full court nba basketball game going on in her place upstairs, so I think she was going to warn me that she was about to practice her kickboxing. But man, when the hot young chick knocks on my door at 1am I don't open it. that says pretty much all you need to know about me. Kids. Don't be like me. Open that door.

I submitted a review of their show with the Menzingers and the Copyrights, hopefully that gets put up. If not, I can sum it up by saying these guys are fucking intense live and the album in this year's "From the Bottom."
