So in my sophomore year of high school, I was obsessed with Illusions of Safety by Thrice and I was still heavy into electric guitar so I wanted to start a band JUST like Thrice. I was friends with some metal-corish, arguably scene kids and they were down to start a band like that. But the first song they wanted to cover was "Nerdy" by Poison The Well.

Fuck that. Band practice never happened. I stopped playing electric guitar. I never got to play a show for any sort of band(I don't count cover shows). And I will regret not having that experience till I die.
