This thought always runs through my head especially since I'm only 19. But I'm moving to SF and attending a music conservatory so instead of practicing classical guitar 5 hours a day, it will turn into 8 hours a day and then there are shit tons of activities and blah blah blah. I simply won't have time to start a band and be fully committed.

I'm going to try and see if I can make time though. I'm sure I can find a couple kids who like punk rock in one of the biggest punk scenes in the country.

I think it's funny that the only cd anyone defends is only one that, for me, has not stood the test of time at all. Everything after that has been a very natural, but radical transformation into something much more interesting. However it seems that everyone, haters and fans, are completely stuck in the past with these guys.

I put them on the same pedestal as Converge, Dillinger Escape Plan, and Everytime I Die as the bands that I listen to regularly that have done the whole "metalcore" right.

Wow, I really don't get why this band is so polarizing to everyone. Even people who like some of their material is polarized by thier other stuff. I personally feel that they have done nothing but progress over the years and everything they have put out is fantastic. I love "The Opposite of December" but I think its overrated and Tear From the Red actually shines much brighter.

Obviously don't know what you're talking about, Versions might be their best album, and I loved Opposite of December.

and this one sounds like it will be even better than versions! They give an awesome side to this entire scene. there is not one other band playing hard music like these guys do. Not one band that emulates them. Way out of the cookie cutter in the best way. I agree, this guy is a twat
