In a move that returns the labels to its roots, Equal Vision Records has launched a new imprint, Mantralogy. The imprint is a collaboration with film/music producers Gaura Vani and Rasa Acharya that promises a "edgy punk rock attitude and underground ethos with the ancient uplifting philosophies and culture of conscious living and music. " and connects to the label's history as an outlet for Krishna-conscious musicians.

Mantralogy's first artist, Gaura Vani, blends western instrumentation, rhythms and harmonies with traditional chants and melodies, citing influences like Beck, Bjork and Peter Gabriel. He and his band, As Kindred Spirits, often perform in traditional venues like yoga studios and temples, as well as more mainstream spaces like NPR, CBS, Lollapalooza, Burning Man, and countless grassroots get-togethers on every continent.
