In a new Guardian piece, Nick Cave reads from his forthcoming second novel, The Death of Bunny Munro.
September 1, 2009, the novel has been described as "Cormac McCarthy, Franz Kafka, and Benny Hill together in a Brighton seaside guesthouse" and is due via Faber & Faber. Check out the video here. Anti- Records (20 comments)

FTW. Man, I remember back in '92 when all Comedy Central had was Benny Hill, Stand-Up Stand-Up and MST3K. That one skinny old man always got the broads. 2+ Replies

What a surprise, I thought it'd be a kids book about sunflowers and happiness.

His first novel's still on my Wish List. Need to read it. Guy's incredible. He should also publish his script for Gladiator 2. 2+ Replies

my old boss from the record store was an extra in Wings of Desire (the german film that would become the basis for that Nicolas Cage/Meg Ryan movie City of Angels), during the Nick Cave concert sequence. it's hilarious because he looked exactly the same as he does now. 1+ Reply
