Bruce Springsteen: "London Calling (The Clash)"

On June 28th, Bruce Springsteen appeared at the Hard Rock Calling Festival in London's Hyde Park. Springsteen opened his set with his take on The Clash classic, "London Calling."

I think he did a pretty great job. shit he was the only one who knew the words to the verse, in that performance. plus it was in the right key, unlike this where it's moved up two steps and sounds really thin sounding.

I laughed when he went for the bird noise haha. But Elvis cover The Clash with Jacob Dylan on his show, so I'm positive he's very familiar with them. You'd be surprised what you can forget in the heat of the moment.

bruce is a straight up rocker and theres really only a couple of ways around it. and most of them end with the implication that you are a douchebag for thinking otherwise
