Tours: Landmine Marathon / Book of Black Earth (west coast)

Landmine Marathon and Book of Black Earth have announced some August tour dates. Landmine Marathon recently contributed to a split 7" with They Funeral Pyre, while Book of Black Earth are touring in support of 2008's Horoskopus.

when han solo gets lowered into the pit in Empire, after leia kisses him and the whole "i love you/i know" thing, he's all calm and collected.

but then when boba fett's carting his carbonite block away, he's all screaming like he's trying to get out.

i think it would've been way more awesome if han solo just kept his reserve and was frozen crossing his arms, or flipping the bird or something when he gets presented to jabba the hutt.

I think it is just your natural physical reaction to the process of being submerged in carbonite I'm sure it wasn't a nice feeling and there i no way when kissing her n stuff he could have known what it felt like.

Also there was a chance he was going to die and maybe he was like "if I'm going to die I'm going to make Jabba look at the ugliest face I can make for all time"

i guess. i'd like to think he would've been a defiant badass even when frozen in carbonite. like he'll get carted away with a "meh, that's the best you got?" look on his face.

Yesterday was the 40th Anniversary for the moon landing. Google maps changed the little figure you can drag around to a mini astronaut for the occasion. I wish there was a way to set my preferences so it was that all the time.
