The Maine have posted their new video for the song "Into Your Arms." The song comes from the deluxe reissue of their debut, Can't Stop Won't Stop on Fearless Records.

One of the best of the year. I was surprised that Sitting Army wasn't widely appreciated round here, American Rubicon is definitely their best stuff yet though.

seriously. it's definitely 2nd best for me at this point. the mixture of sociopolitical and personal subjects works so well.

i'm sure you all know what's still #1 and i won't mention it yet again shook ones the unquotable a.m.h. is hands down the best album of the year.

....god dammit.

It's my favorite punk album this year (so far) for sure. There may be a couple of releases outside the realm that top it for me. I really want to see them play the songs live. I was hoping for a Fest appearance, but the tour with Teenage Bottlerocket will have to do.

being a huge Stephen King fan for over 17 years now and never been to the states:
what is Maine like? is it worth a trip?

I like the way this video is shot.but the story and the music are more than awful.

I've never been but I did visit New Hampshire for a week or so as a kid and assume they are about the same. It was nice, relaxing. If that is the kind of trip you want.

Dear The Maine,

A shopping spree at H&M and $100 faux-European fashionista haircuts don't make you any more interesting or give you any more "credibility." I know you're going for the 'hipster' look, but you end up coming off more lik 3 Doors Down or NIckleback than anything else. Also your songs (I've only heard this one) are really awful.

Also - I just looked at your MySpace page, and your'e from Arizona but you're wearing fleece pea coats in your pictures. That doesn't make any sense at all. You might be less awful as a band if you dressed for the weather.

May I suggest embracing your inner-mall punk and being yourselves?
