Red Animal War has another set of reunion gigs lined up. The Dallas, Texas based band will reconvene on August 28th at the Prophet Bar in their hometown, followed by a show on the 29th at Lolas Sixth in Fort Worth, TX. The shows will be the band's first since December of last year.
The band last released Seven Year War in 2006 on End Sounds. They last toured in 2004, traveling Europe with Slowride, but have been mostly dormant since. End Sounds (16 comments)

Ooh. I remember that tour, I went to 2 shows and while the bands played great they were very, very very, unattended..

These guys tried to charge me like 2g's to play my basement about 7 years ago. I liked them, but I couldn't drop that. 2+ Replies

I got United Nations' album around Christmas, and I just realized that I've probably listened to it more than any album I've bought since then, and probably several months before. It's just so god damn perfect. It's the like the perfect mix of my favorite grind, screamo, and powerviolence bands all Frankenstien'd together. | Features
