Nakatomi Plaza to premiere two new tracks tonight

Soon-to-be-defunct Brooklyn indie rockers Nakatomi Plaza will be premiering two new tracks tonight on Generic Insight Radio. The songs are off the band's upcoming final full-length, Ghosts.

The radio show, which is also promising new music tonight from the likes of Broadway Calls, Polar Bear Club, the Swellers and more, starts at 10 p.m. EST and can be streamed here, while song requests can be instant messaged to GenInsightRadio.

Nakatomi Plaza's last album was the long-delayed Unsettled, issued in 2007 on Red Leader.

I used to have a radio show in college with a friend of mine and we played non-mainstream music and we lasted about 8 weeks before we were kicked off...it didn't help that we were wildly obscene. The next semester, they created a whole new set of rules based on our offensive performance.

It's not that hard to print off more posters later on. The show I helped work on campus last year had MxPx, the Bouncing Souls and the Casualties as headliners on the first batch of posters and then Gaslight Anthem got added. Then we had another batch made.

Funny People wasn't all that funny. It was so. fucking. long. The movie could have ended at least 4 or 5 times. It was good? Adam Sandler started to bother me after a while. Seth Rogan wasn't all that funny. The movie just kind of floated. No real main deal. Just a bunch of stuff that happens. Idk. I didn't hate it but I didn't love it? What are your thoughts?

i liked it. no real big laughs but that's to be expected from an apatow film i think. you just get a bunch of small laughs in between the sad.

Haven't seen it, but I heard from two really REALLY reliable sources that I would like it, even though it lasts longer than it should.

Although, it really is Apatow's personal movie from what I've heard and seen. Case in point: Warren Zevon songs in the soundtrack. Apatow was working with him before he died on a movie that Zevon was supposed to do the soundtrack to. Wonder what that movie was going to be?

I'm not gonna just be an asshole and say they suck; rather, I would recommend these bands who play music of the same style, only much better; Strung Out, No Use For a Name, Pulley, Belvedere, AFI (first two albums are more straight-forward punk), or Fifteen.

I have to stop smoking for a week, and then after this whole thing is over Im going on a diet.
The diet is only so Im officailly skinny enough to where I think it is acceptable to stage dive during Fest.
Which is about 175.

Stuff that is not heathy for you at all. Here is what I do:
I eat a peice of fruit or something below 100 calories for breakfast.
I eat a sandwhich on wheat bread with water and something heathy that is crunchy and isnt fruit for lunch.
I then go and run on an olpitical for 30 min and after Im done with that I run on a treadmill for 30 min. I shoot for loosing 800 calories every session.
Then I eat a semi normal person dinner, but try not to endulge to much.
I aimk for 1200 calories a day. Sometimes its more, sometimes its less..
