Agnostic Front to reissue material on Bridge Nine

Bridge Nine Records have announced plans to reissue some of Agnostic Front's earliest material. The label will be releasing a single CD featuring United Blood and Victim in Pain, both of which were released in the early 80s. The label is also planning to reissue those in their original formats with United Blood due as a 7-inch and Victim in Pain on a new 12-inch LP.

Bridge Nine owner Chris Wrenn commented:

Agnostic Front's debut EP and LP - United Blood and Victim In Pain, are seminal New York Hardcore recordings. To have the opportunity to bring them back to life and make them available again to a new generation of hardcore fans is an incredible honor for Bridge Nine Records. We're excited to do these re-issues justice and look forward to helping Agnostic Front celebrate the 25 years since the original release of Victim In Pain."

The band most recently released Warriors.

It was out of print at Lookout! and when the Op Ivy guys got the rights to it back because Lookout! never paid them their royalties, they decided to release it again on Tim's label to put it back into print. It's a record that still generates new fans every year so obviously they would want to keep it in print so people can continue to discover the band. It was never about it sounding better, it was about putting it back into print.

Thanks man. The place we had was pretty perfect too, fuck. I called my uncle in Richmond and asked him if I could stay at his place for a while. He said he has to ask my aunt before he officially says "yes" but I'm pretty sure it'll be ok. Now I'll just feel like I'm a burden on someone eles life. Like I'll feel bad if I go out and come back late while they're sleeping. All their kids are in their 30's and married. I'm 22, but shit man, they don't want to deal with that again.

Dlang - when do you get Fail Safe, I'm dying to know what you think of it.

You know what sucks? When bands always cover the same songs from good bands. I've got 4 different versions of Kiss the Bottle from good bands, they could have broken that shit upo and been grand covers. Astrozombies? Again? Oh, cool.
nobody ever covers "ace" by the descendents. They should.

Everybody sucks the ergs! Knob when they are basically Sicko 10 years later.

Unless you're going to do something totally different, but still cool, I think people just shouldn't be allowed to cover the Misfits anymore. Espcially since most of them are just exact covers of the original and don't offer anything new.

Examples of acceptable Misfits covers: TahoeJeff's "Astro Zombies" cover and Alkaline Trio's "Halloween" cover.

The Invalids is also acceptable because that's what my voice sounds like and its fun to sing to. I also sort of sound like Rodney from the dead milkmen. Their Misfits cover is heaven.

at Fun Fun Fun fest in '07 I skipped Lifetime to watch Ted Leo who was playing 2 stages away (this was in between Riverboat Gamblers and Against Me, who were followed by Murder City Deivls) and he played "Hybrid Moments" and dedicated it to the "Other band fro Jersey playing two stages away."

That was pretty rad.

RIP LES PAUL!

Very depressing. I was watching a dvd with him 10 or 15 minutes before going on the internet to find out he's dead. It always amazed me that he was still alive. The first video here, he always seemed so fucking cool sitting in that chair and playing that guitar. Very good music along w/ Mary's excellent singing talent.

Now the only real rock legends living (that I can think of) are: Chuck Berry, Little Richard, Jerry Lee Lewis. And every day I'm glad that they're somehow still here.

nah the cgi is the best part.

my list of dislikes goes like this:

unlikable leading character
overly serious(and ultimately not saying anything really important)
meandering plot with no real intriguing complications

it just made me wonder why i was watching it. it gets a little bit of fun towards the end though.
