The Casting Out appear on Germany´s biggest Soap Opera

The Casting Out, which includes Nathan Gray of Boy Sets Fire, recently appeared on Germany´s biggest soap opera, Gute Zeiten,Schlechte Zeiten (Good Times,Bad Times) with their song "These Alterations" from their debut, Go Crazy! Throw Fireworks!.

The show is one of the longest running programs on German television and reaches around 4 million viewers daily. The "concert" was filmed July 2009 at Babelsberg Filmstudios in Berlin during their European Tour with Red Tape Parade who were hired as extras and can be seen dancing in the crowd.

This band is great,.I never understood why they (and BSF, not to beat the comparison into the ground) never had much traction here but are huge in Europe.

Wouldn't say they were huge in Europe though.. I mean sure they could draw around 800-1000 people in some places in Germany or Holland but nowhere else, really.

i don't know anything about this game show

but i really wish someone would explain to me what the hell was going on in that topless SMS gameshow i was watching in berlin. wtf.

There's a gay one too with a guy in a tiiiny thong who always have a boner and he keeps rubbing himself with oil during the show..

....And this airs at 5pm.

Hate to admit it, but the Casting Out is not bad, if you like synth-driven pop punk that sounds like Meat Loaf.

sniff sniff... that was one of the nicest things anyone has ever said about us. so nice, that i am thinking about adding synth to our pop, so you dont say things that make it seem like you've never heard us before (was that a run on sentence...i suck at sentence structure).

Haha, that's awesome. I enjoy your band, actually. And yeah, a lot of your songs have the tempo of a synth pop/Meatloaf song. I mean, maybe you should listen to your own songs? You should. They're pretty good.

Meat Loaf? Go clean your ears. I saw them at the harvest and they were the best live band there besides paint it black and bridge and tunnel.

so you guys know whats awesome...im drunk and about to go to sleep and ive been looking for clips of this shit everywhere for like a month cause someone lied to me and said it aired like whenever the fuck ago...so by looking everywhere i mean i checked a german website once and saw the fact that i might have to pay and gave up. i like that they let us do this...its honestly just weird that i would ever be allowed on tv even for a second. nathan i hate you...fuck chris rakus and jack......your a good dude...ps.. have a big day
