Pavement planning UK shows

Pavement has confirmed that they will definitely be performing in the UK as part of their 2010 reunion tour. As of right now, only one date has been confirmed, a show in New York City in 2010.

Guitarist Scott Kannberg spoke to NME and suggested that the jaunt could include the a slot at Glastonbury festival, where they last played in 1999, the year they split up. Kannberg did not reveal specific details of the UK live shows, but hinted that appearances would be limited.

The will also be doing Lollapalooza, Coachella, Austin City Limits, and Outside Lands...

Speaking of, I saw these guys @ Lollapalooza 1995 along with Sonic Youth, Hole, Cypress Hill, Moby, MIke Watt, Be k, The Jesus Lizard and The Mighty Mighty Bosstones.
I don't think alot of people watched them.... They played right in the middle of the afternoon around (4 or 5pm), and it seemed everyone was bored and sitting down, just waiting for the sun to go down.
BTW The whole show ruled... too bad you don't get lineups like that anymore.

I am sure you still do. Hindsight can make things seem a whole lot better. I can think back to a number of shows that had outstanding lineups, and that list seems to keep growing each year, which tells me they still exist. Perhaps not as frequently as before, but they exist.
