Bruce Springsteen, Beastie Boys, The Decemberists, Coheed & Cambria on Bonnaroo DVD

The Bonnaroo organizers have announced plan to release a new live DVD on December 15, 2009. The disc will feature performances from Bruce Springsteen, Beastie Boys, Elvis Costello, Jenny Lewis, The Decemberists, Coheed and Cambria and more.

Seeing it live made it a lot better, the dynamic flow and swells made much more of an impact. Hell at least it wasn't "Queen of the Supermarket"... fuck THAT song I say.

I saw it live too. After the buildup of opening with "Badlands", flowing right into "Spirits in the Night" "Outlaw Pete" shows just how out of place it is in the oeuvre.

Queen of the Supermarket is honestly the worst song that man has ever written. I've got like 18 gigs of Springsteen stuff and I will say that I have never heard anything half as bad.

Bonnaroo was epic this year. Except it took me 10 hours to make it through the car line so i missed White Rabbits and Portugal. The Man. But it was still a super awesome weekend.
