Saw these guys open for Anti-Flag more than 10 years ago and even then I could tell they were huge knobs. Why do all the fake gangster hardcore dudes love them so much?

Ages ago, I saw them at Emo's in Austin,Tx(in the small room, before there was Emo's Jr) with Midtown and Dynamite Boy. They were full of so much energy, and Jordan had just gotten tattooed next door at True Blue. Not just that, but it was only 5 bucks to get in.

As far as the fake gangster wannabes go, I'm just glad The Transplants aren't around anymore.

I always thought New Found Glory were for like 14 year old girls

Lame video, lame song, lame album
This is probably my least favorite New Found Glory record, but it still, it has a couple of really good songs. Tangled Up and Truck Stop Blues were probably tops.

Best video these guys did was for Dressed To Kill, with Rachel Leigh Cook

It's videos like this that I wonder how fucking stupid they must of felt whenever they saw everyone in costumes and on set. I wonder if they thought they would everget to this cheesy as fuck point in their careers back in 98 or 99 whenever they formed. I enjoyed the self titled and some of sticks and stones but I feel like they've lacked so much identity since the stones record. Their music doesn't feel genuine at all.

But hey, at least the bass player is wearing a shirt, right?

Of course it's not genuine; they wrote a genuine pop rock album, the fans hated it, and they had to regroup to stay afloat. It's Saves the Day, post-In Reverie all over again.

The S/T album was a guilty pleasure of mine back in those days too. I signed up for the fantasy BB league today. Never played fantasy BB, but this will be fun. Thanks for the invite, and you best of watch out for PJ's Drugmoney because I am sure they will do terrible.

agree with the shirt, pop punk is not dead! Whatever what you call pop punk, there's something for everyone. Set Your Goals, Dear Landlord, Bouncing Souls, Off With Their Heads, New Found Glory, The Casting Out, Dillinger Four. All pop punk (even if the do different kind of pop punk), and they all put out good records recently.
