It's not every day you get a Lawrence Arms release but Atreyu gets the picture. $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

haha... Actually I was looking forward to that as well. I liked their last two. I wanna check out the new Pelican as well. Even though they apparently sing on some of it, that bugs me. They were always great reading music.

Sainthood is a lot more... 80s sounding than I ever expected to hear. It's still pretty good and I'm just part way through my first listen right now. Their albums usually take a few listens to sink in for me.

i'm just gonna throw this out there... the larry limbs are my favorite band in the world, but this is the first time I have been let down by them. I got Buttsweat this morning (NICE!) and was satisfied with the overall release. It's got some great tracks,I love "slowest drink" and "them angels," but the other three might as well be falcon b-sides. I never thought this would come out of me... but I give 3 1/2 stars.
Beex's voice has also never sounded so strained.

...that being said, it is still better than 99% of the other garbage that is deemed music by shitheads nowadays!

It takes a very special release day for the Red CHord to NOT have the best CD of the day. The reason being is the new Between The Buried And Me is easily the best album ever recorded! I've been listening non-stop sonce I received the CD on FRiday and I am absoltely blown away. Their previous album "Colors" was my all-time favorite album but this CD took the best aspects of Colors and vastly expanded on them! This is a must own CD for anyone who enjoys music period!

By the way, the Red Chrod's new one is their best one yet! The other big surprise is that Atreyu's new one is a really strong return to form.

LOL, After Atreyu's last couple of releases I could see why. However, the new Atreyu is a lot better than anything they've done since their first full-length.

Is the larry ams release at least going digital? Vinyl isn't really my thing.

I guess they are doing an Itunes release of it, with Demons as a bonus song. (or download Demons from spin.com for free)
