Detournement plan new 7-inch

Detournement, which features members of Bigwig, Ensign, Lifetime, Plan A Project and Worthless United, have announced their second release.

The record is titled Awaken with Millions from One Heart and is due out December 1, 2009. The band commemorates the 60th anniversary of the People's Republic of China with the album which was produced by Bouncing Souls guitarist, Pete Steinkopf.

None shall be forgotten - the instrumental bridge just before the end makes the song drag a bit but it's solid apart from that.
The rest are solid if a bit persistantly mid-paced for me but that's just because i like everything as fast as concorde

Ok, so it's been about a week since Fest. Did anyone actually see Samiam? Any pictures/videos/reviews I've seen so far haven't mentioned them. Someone had to have seen them! Come on!

i went into the venue after shook ones to pick up my friend's shirt that he left. the second i stepped in, i was greeted by the intro to "she found you". that is my favorite samiam song and i took this as a sign that life, in general, is awesome.

I love Bigwig to death, a couple years ago they played Baltimore like 3 times and then they went dead. They need to get active again

Say what you will about AFI, but they still put on a fucking awesome show.

Apparently they also like to eat at Pick Me Up Cafe while in Chicago. My friend and I got to meet Hunter and Davey. It was pretty cool.
