Smoke Or Fire are recording a new album.

The band is looking at a tentative mid-2010 release for their third full-length under the Smoke or Fire moniker, and first since 2007's This Sinking Ship on Fat Wreck.

Above the City was amazing. There's not a bad song on that album, and despite the 28 minute runtime it's songs seem fully realized as far as getting their point across.
This Sinking Ship was okay. Never really grew on me. many parts of the songs seemed to be filler to lengthen the time.

Regardless, I'm stoked.

I agree about Above The City..I think they made have taken some shit about songs needing one more chorus or whatever and decided to make sure songs were a little longer on Sinking Ship

But if they deliver another album "only" as good as Sinking Ship, I'm still heavily stoked
