Gallows to join Billy Talent/Alexisonfire/Against Me! for Canadian Tour in 2010

Gallows has announced that they will be joining the forthcoming Canadian tour with Against Me!, Billy Talent and Alexisonfire. The band said this:

Just announced on stage in Toronto: We will be coming back to Canada next March for the Billy Talent/Alexisonfire/Against Me tour. We're super stoked to be on this, hope to see a lot of you there.

The British hardcore/rock outfit are currently on the road with AFI in support of Grey Britain.

How bout they replace Against Me! with Cancer Bats and Billy Talent with The Lawrence Arms or The Gaslight Anthem. Now THAT would be a sweet fucking show.

If you're into the Bronx, Gallows, Every Time I Die, etc then check them out. I don't think they're as good as any of those bands but if you're a fan of that style, it's worth checking out.

Cancer Bats rule my socks AND my mittens.

Also, i think Gaslight is kind of overrated. i was all stoked to see them open for Rise Against the last time they came through, but they kinda blew. So did Alkaline Trio.

I really enjoy Gallows, but this show will cost too much to attend anyways :(

Fuck Gallows

Twice in two years these guys have booked shows in NEw Zealand and both times they have pulled out for a bigger money offer leaving the promotoer screwed over.

This Billy Talent tour ios one of those times

Completely understand but to do it twice in 18 months to the same guys is pretty shit.

Damn i mean they could have just jumped on the Canada tour one or two days late

Remember when Against Me! toured with Mastodon, Cursive and PMFS. Or when they toured with Ted Leo and Future of the Left? Or when they toured with Sage Francis and Cobra Skulls?Those were awesome, diverse lineups. I get what they're trying to do with the 'something for everyone' vibe, but AM! should be touring with better bands.

Almost all of those bands are great bands... I think, rather than trying to have a diverse lineup, Against Me! usually tours with bands they're into at the time, specifically when they're headlining it's obvious.

I'm going to guess this isn't AgainstMe's tour, as Billy Talent and Alexisonfire are both pretty big in Canada.

If they were any bit as good as they were when they were touring with cobra skulls, then yes, they should be touring with better than this. But since New Wave, and deffinitely since "I was a Teenage Anarchist", AM! doesn't fill its own shoes. Say what you will about Billy Talent now, but Pezz was a pretty good band back in the day, and now here we are, weak ass band opening up for weak ass band.

At first i was intrigued by this but;

Since Billy Talent/Alexis are playing together the venue is going to be huge; probably mostly hockey arenas. And the main band that i'd go for would be Against Me!, and they would only probably get like a 30 minute set time.
