According to a Pitchfork report, Portland's Thermals are already planning the release of their upcoming fifth album. The follow up to 2009's Now We Can See is apparently expected September 7th, 2010 via Kill Rock Stars.
In December, the trio will head into Portland's Jackpot Studios with Death Cab for Cutie's Chris Walla producing. The record also marks the recorded debut of drummer Westin Glass.. Kill Rock Stars (23 comments)

I have a friend that is really into these guys, but I could never really get into them.. or Death Cab For Cutie, for that matter. 3+ Replies

Now We Can See is a really good album, I didn't like it much at first but it grew on me. Great album to listen to at work.

hope it's more consistent than Now We Can See. Half amazing, half mediocre doesn't cut it when your last album had only one mediocre song (Back to the Sea, who the fuck liked that song) 1+ Reply
