Media: MxPx: "Punk Rawk Christmas"

MxPx have posted the title track from their upcoming Christmas-themed release, Punk Rawk Christmas. Due out December 1, 2009 the album will feature mainly original, Christmas themed music from the band.

You know how in Love Actually, the washed-up singer re-records "Love is All Around Us" or whatever by replacing "love" with "Christmas"?

Is this song essentially "Punk Rawk Show" given the same treatment?

This band only existed to me from Teenage Politics until Slowly Going the Way of the Buffalo.

Although some of the Renaissance EP was good, though.

i gotta say.....

these guys have really worn thin my blind acceptance of anything they put out with the overflowing trashcan that is the 2nd decade of their career. Secrect Weapon and Panic had some highlights, but essentially everything after Buffalo is a horrible letdown.

Today's comic/blog is about the death of my record collection and also a bit about a new benefit compilation called "Protect 2," which is a total Org-core comp just waiting to happen. It comes out this week.

I wonder why the Org is running Deftones and MxPx stories instead of mentioning "Protect 2" at all? I mean, it's got The Copyrights and The Dopamines on it, plus a debut song from an Off With Their Heads spin-off band and some other new goodness.
