Rich Kids, the short lived band that Glen Matlock of the Sex Pistols formed after his ouster, are reuniting for a one off show in London. The band, also featuring Steve New, Midge Ure, and Rusty Egan will perform on January 7th at the Islington Academy.
Both Ure and Matlock will play solo sets at the show, as will New's band Beastellabeast. Furthermore the event will feature appearance from
Mick Jones and Tony James' Carbon/Silicon, TV Smith of the The Adverts, Gary Kemp of Spandau Ballet, Patti Paladin and The Illuminations (Clive Langer, Steve Allen and Ian Broudie). Ure commented that all the guests are expected to "join in the racket and play guitars very loudly."Contributed by KanyeWestOFFICIAL. Posted by adam on Monday, December 7, 2009 at 11:00 AM (EST)
