Runaways trailer, starring Kristen Stewart and Dakota Fanning released

The trailer for the upcoming film about pioneering female punks, The Runaways, has been posted. The film stars Twilight star Kristen Stewart as Joan Jett and Dakota Fanning as Runaways vocalist Cherie Currie. The trailer also includes the film recording of the Runaways' first single, "Cherry Bomb." The film itself will feature The Living Things filling in for the Ramones as well.

wow. Most of you guys are single-minded fucktards. Does no one have an opinion about the Runaways themselves? Or the use of live vs. recorded music for this biopic? Or whether they were pioneers or paint-by-numbers?

I think the "single-minded" comments have a lot less to do with gender than they do with the fact the entire milieu of this film and its stars and production is really, really weird and hilarious in many ways.
