RVIVR to record in January

A quick update comes our way from Rumbletowne's Rvivr. The band features members of Latterman and Shorebirds and will be recording their self-titled debut full length in January. The band adds:

Phil from Latterman is flying out to Olympia and we will start recording in our house on January 14th. It will be 11 songs and will be out by the spring, in time for our Full US tour.

They released a 7-inch this year.

They'll record three songs and break up in the process. Two will come out on a seven inch and the third will appear on a charity comp for fixie snobs who can't afford bread without creatine.

best release it on a CD this time fuckers. took them long enough to get around to releasing the shorebirds album on cd, on an obscure european label - i didn't even know about it until i saw it being sold at a bridge and tunnel gig and snapped that fucker right up.

Wasn't it on Yo-Yo? They've been around for a while and have handled a lot of the European distro of Latterman stuff as well. Of course, if you never sought out the first two Latterman albums on vinyl, there's no reason you would know that...so.

i'll be honest, i've only heard a few latterman songs, they're on my "to-do list" as far as hearing bands goes.

I like a few of the "post-Latterman" bands alot better personally, but sometimes they break up before I even hear of them

I think The Steal or Deny Everything or maybe both also were/are on yo-yo. I ordered something from yo-yo and was pretty happy with the price and the shipping time.

I'm sure their "full US tour" will come as far east as Denver. Then back up the west coast.

"full US tour" means, get this, a tour of the FULL US! please dont come to any of the east coast dates in april/may.
