The Swellers post "Montreal Screwjob", new tour video

In honor of Bret "The Hitman" Hart returning to WWE tonight, The Swellers are streaming "Montreal Screwjob" right here. The song is an outtake from the Ups and Downsizing sessions and was the B-side to their 7" single, Welcome Back Riders.

The band has also posted a new tour video chronicling their shenanigans on the road with Less Than Jake and The Casualties. You can click Read More to check it out.

If I could just interrupt your reading of these comments for one second, I have something to say.

I’m not the girl you’ve seen from the old Punknews site… I’m not that same person. I don’t just mean that in a philosophical or conceptual way. It’s not the same person at all...

JawbreakerSucks was created, and this is a bit of a confession, by a large group of people, almost a conference of people, and we talked about how we could come up with something that would move people, that was done in the spirit of commerce, that was done in the spirit of entertainment… I am the next person who is playing JawbreakerSucks.

Me? A hipster? Do you listen to anything I say ever? I've been wearing the same thing for pretty much 25 years. Jeans, t-shirts and vans.
I don't like anybody and think doing things for irony-sake is just asking to get knocked down and spray painted (I've done it before)

Wow, then we may have more in common than you might imagine. As you know I live in Brooklyn and am quite frustrated with hipsters.

I do listen to you closely, since I consider you such a close friend. But we've not discussed fashion before.

I'll keep you in my friend basket along with my metal-friends. We don't discuss music and we get along flawlessly. I have no idea how you live in Brooklyn and deal with hipsters. I have enough issues with them here and I don't see them all that often because I tend to hang out in bars where the median age is 65. Those guys are GREAT at complaining about shit.

Complaining is pretty fun. I like punching smug hipsters in the face. Rocket-kicking them is even more fun because they never know what hit them.

I'm not sure about 'rocket-kicks' but I've got no issues with your dispensing random violence. Last time I was in Brooklyn I witnessed douchebaggers wearing thrift store clothes with the price tags on it as if to show off that you did indeed by your ugly clothes at a thrift-store

Happens all the time. Rocket-kicking is... well... I can't tell you because I might surprise you with it one day. It's a bit of a misnomer.

I did watch the "Wrestling with shadows" documentary some time ago. It is really good even if you don't like wrestling that much. Bret used to be my favorite wrestler when I was young. Got converted to MMA now.
