Last night, Motion City Soundtrack performed their new single, "Her Words Destroyed My Planet," on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon. The song comes from the band's new full-length, My Dinosaur Life.
The band is currently on tour with Set Your Goals, This Providence and The Swellers. Sony Music Entertainment (13 comments)

I had never ever listened to these guys but have a few friends who like them. So after reading a couple favorable reviews of the new album, I gave it a chance. And that one chance was all I will ever be able to muster because it was fucking WEAK. Now I know why my brother has endlessly shit on them when they're mentioned. It sounded on par with shit like The Audition or The Maine or Mayday Parade to me. Gets the gas face.

I think they chose to do Planet instead of Disappear so they could say the Jay Leno thing lol. Overall I think Planet is one of the weaker songs on the album. 1+ Reply

I can't stand lead singers who "tone down" and "pull back" from the great full voice they used to record with. I've seen them live and they do the same thing. The lead vocals are so strong on the recordings and them he totally pusses-out to save his voice. Don't sing one way on the record if you can't deliever live for the fans, Pierre.
