How do you think I would like it? My favorite CIS is The Troubled Stateside, which I love. I've liked everything else they've done as well, though was initially disappointed by Is Dead.

well if he didn't have the resources, of course not. but just because blink's successful doesn't mean that he couldn't make money off of this band if he wanted to. This band has a lot of fans who'd be willing to buy this record in stores, and there's probably a few labels who'd be happy to do that for a band with such a large built in fan base.

There are tons of little bands who act similarly, handing out demos for free that they threw down cash to make, and I don't see that as any different than this, just on a smaller scale. In both cases, no matter how shitty the music, I can dig that. Whether you would have otherwise spent that money on groceries or golden jet skis, you didn't. You spent that money to share something that you created and believe in. And that's bad ass.

All that said, this guy's still a clown for the most part.
