It's my least favorite venue ever. Hate it. Unless you are upfront its shitty to watch. Always have a problem with the sound.

It's just not for me. If shows are there, I just have to pretend they aren't playing here.

See I think the sound is among the better small dc venues. I mean it's way better than, say, dc9 or red & black. I mean they're not 930 but they're also not trying to be. It's just a cool small room to see punk shows. Although their monitor system does suck but hey, you're not listening to it

on tour when the bar was nice enough hook us up with beer they would alway give us PBR. i know beggers can't be choosers but come on! In Texas you dont really run into PBR. We have Lone Star which leaps and bounds better PBR.

I have been saying this for a while. I have a friend who said the No Idea crew was trying their best.

I heard they wanted to get NOFX for years but don't have a big enough venue. Would be cool to see me first, but i really hate the venue.

Yeah, me too. But last year it wasn't really that bad (compared to Common Grounds...) I was able to get up front easily for Leatherface, Snuff, Samiam, etc.

See i do photos for fest so i never have to worry about lines. My problem with the venue is the sound and just the fact that it's huge which i find kind of alienating, though the tiered seating (aka standing) has something to be said for it. Last year i just kinda felt the sound wasn't loud enough, but then i think i only watched a handful of bands. Oh and it's a magnet for the assholes at fest, saw loads of jocks there during D4 and strike anywhere doing stuff like punching people in the crowd or generally trying to start shit. I guess there's something to be said for the fact that the larger bands at the one venue mean they generally only go to the venue, but that for me is just a reason not to go there.

Rambling rant over!

If they are playing it, they'd probably be playing late on the last day. They've got a couple days to make it out there.
