despite the clever misdirection on the album cover, it looks like this album is really named for a marketing campaign. is it art, or a vehicle to sell back to school clothes for tweens? 2+ Replies

Even if your confidence in this band has been shaken in recent years, you still owe it to yourself to check out "Unspoken," "Run Away" and "Hang On" from the stream. All three are incredible songs. 2+ Replies

Hate the name, hate the cover, will probably hate half the songs, and one or two will be classics. These dudes need to grunge it up again.

This album isn't bad and I could totally see it making my top 25 of the year. While nothing spectactular, it's good seeing a band make steps in the right direction after falling into the abyss of top 40. 3+ Replies

Hopefully the new Bad Religion will leak soon since this has already. 1+ Reply

Did I listen to a different album or something? I have less desire to hear this ever again than even Far From Finished's new crap-fest of a record. "Where's My Sex?" and "Smart Girls" are the worst. And "Trainwreck"...it must be so awful to be Weezer. 5+ Replies

WHO THE FUCK IS ENJOYING THIS???

After so many horrible songs, lowered expectations and disappointments, it's really amazing how people still have hope for Weezer every time they have a new release. I, of course, am but another delusional member of this demographic.

Better than the last two at least. I think it's about on par with Make Believe, which was pretty decent aside from "Beverly Hills" and "We Are All On Drugs", but nowhere near as good as anything before that.
scorpiondeathlock (September 7, 2010)
this band has been awful for years but the decision to add the "gimme gimme"'s in the background of beverly hills was the official nail in the coffin.

This is definitely a step in the right direction. Ruling Me is the best song they've recorded in years. After the first listen I wasn't too sure about the rest--and maybe its the beer---but I'm really enjoying the album on my second listen.
kentspaz (September 7, 2010)
I actually think this is the best album they've done in the last decade. Not saying much, but I think it's really good.

So...I'm torn. Is the new album worth listening to or will I be wasting my time?
encorp (September 12, 2010)
good songs or not
cbennet (September 12, 2010)
this pretty much made me think that raditude was just something to run out the geffen contract. seriously. to come out within a year afterwards and kick the most ass since maladroit, it has to be. i wish raditude would have an astrick next to it when somone list their discgraphy to note this.
encorp (September 12, 2010)
Only a narcissistic asshole like Rivers could go to university to "learn how to write a good album" and fail so miserably at it that he release a whole discography following that of some of the worst albums of all time.
Stenny (September 13, 2010)
Didn't Desmond Childe to co/writie a song, along with other "proffessional" song writers? t's nice to hear Rivers sing with some affection.
snorkie (October 2, 2010)
seriously.... the most contrived shit there is. and i loved pinkerton and the blue. this stuff now is just worthless. take out the guitars and throw a beat behind it and sell it to rihanna or some other worthless whore. It's just mindless shit for mindless fucks. disappointed. | Features
