Smoking Popes have announced the title and release date for their next studio album. The record is titled This Is Only A Test and it's due out March 15, 2011 via Asian Man Records. It'll be the band's second post-reunion album, following up 2008's Stay Down. More details are expected soon.

Asian Man has been reissuing old Popes material as of late, including the compilation It's Been a Long Day earlier this year as well as the band's 1993 debut, Get Fired.
