I like the vocals, they fit the music well...kind of reminds me of a female Roky Erickson or early Jagger. The lo-fi production works for them, too. I'm usually not big on bands who painstakingly try to recreate a certain era of music, but this group is growing on me.

Meh, it's probably just me. I sharpened my musical taste on bands like Fishbone and Mr. Bungle, so nowadays, for example, I can stop in the middle of a metal album to review a K-pop song with no ill effect.

Huh? I think it's more of the matter that I made the first comment that was directed at the actual music instead of being irrelevant or harping on the weight of the singer. I know it's not "punx" to disregard the importance of appearances and sex appeal in a band, but for once I didn't feel the need to make it the focal point of my response. O_o

I didn't realize sentimentality had a taste. I don't care what my emotional attachment to a beverage is, if it tastes like crud, I ain't drinkin' it.

I love to drink, but PBR is literally the only beer I could never actually finish a full can of, not even while drunk.

I went to a bar in NYC (The Burp Castle) and after asking for her opinion of what to drink, she gave me the worst tasting beer I have ever tasted. It was like drinking motor oil.

But I'm fine with pounding Pabst. To each their own, I suppose.

What was the beer?

Of course, I'm not one for "pounding" "brewskis". I like dark, thick beers that substitute for a full meal. I don't often go into bars or even drink as much anymore, but when I do, I just ask for the darkest beer they have on tap, and I've yet to have any regrets.

Smuttynose IPA. I forget if it was a variation of it or not. Smuttynose Pumpkin Spice is one of my favorite beers so I thought I'd like the others.

My favorite beer would have to be Guinness.

I love this site but the comments in here are just plain mean. These ones in here and the ones on sexism have pretty much been the straw that broke the camels back for me as far as reading comments goes. So the singer isn't what society would deem as a super model. So what. And I'm sure that if she was then all the comments would just be about wanting to have sex with her. I'd be willing to bet that most of the people on this site are not Brad Pitt looking motherfuckers either but hiding behind the cloak of the internet makes them feel as though they can put other people down because of their appearance. I hope that when all of these 15 year old commenters grow up they realize how big of assholes that they have been and change their ways. Alot of bands actually read these comments and it has got to hurt their feelings. I know it would hurt mine. Now on to my commen
