Q: What makes for a good live review? A: It should be written in past-tense and as descriptive as possible. What was the venue like? How many bands played, and in what order, and for how long? What did each band sound like? How did the crowd react to each band?

If you're able to get set lists, photos and video, that's a big advantage as well. But the writing is most important. DESCRIBE SOMETHING. Don't just say, "This band played a set and the people there liked it." Try to make the reader feel like they were there.
