New Rx Bandits Album, DVD

"According to the recent update on www.rxbandits.com, the band is taking time off to write and record a new album they hope to release by May 2003. Also, the DVD they have been working on for the last several months has been slightly delayed to incorporate new footage they have recently received. Look for it sometime before the new album drops as a joint release between Drive-Thru Records and singer/guitarist Matt Embree's new label, Mash Down Babylon."

Real boss. Quite possibly the only Drive Thru band I can stand. I know that it sounds dumb but aren't you guys suppose to put the Drive Thru icon for news like this? Again it's stupid and I may be reading too much into it. Ramo (I hate reading)

I think it may be because of the legal thing with Drive-thru that happened in... well i forget when, but it was 6-9 months ago.

Awesome. Rx Bandits are the one stand out band that I love on Drive-Thru. I wonder what the new stuff will be like since Progress was a new direction. Jeb

Yes I know I wrote this above but seeing how many people have said the same thing I'll make it more prominent. The diatribe that everyone seems to give against DTR whenever one of their bands are mentioned is getting boring. Nobody gives a shit that you don't like DTR, shut up about it. So unoriginal.

correction. when i read these comments i thought it was pretty interesting that almost everyone who posted felt the same way as me. drive thru is filled with some truly crappy bands with a couple of exceptions. and it seems that the label sucks if it feels some compulsion to sue this site. rx bandits really are a standout though. those guys are really very good. i don't see it as unoriginal. we all feel the same way, but it's not because we see how others feel. we post to show that each one of us is not the only one with that opinion.

Everybody knows that nobody on the site likes DTR anymore, but people still say it everytime a post is made, why say it again? It's just dull. I never said NFG was original.

but that is half the fun of this site. you post your opinions on what the news topic is, and than you either get a slew of people agreeing with you or a bunch of people telling you that you are a fucking moron. either way, why waste your time telling people to stop bitching because the bitching will always continue....besides, i am getting tired of people saying stop bitching. its just dull. and you are right, nfg isn't original.

RX bandits and finch are probally the only two bands i can listen two from their list of bands, the rest all pretty much sound and look alike. I won't go and say "fuck drive thru records" but i will say that the way they run their label sucks....threatening to sue people over comments they don't like. Sounds like a playground fight, i'm telling!
