holy shit! holy shit! Appleseed Cast and PMFST put deep elm on the map. Oh well, as long as they keep making chill music that I can edit film to, no worries.

Great news. I've never been a huge Deep Elm fan, and I'm glad to see that these guys are moving on. I would have thought that these guys would be signed on a major by now, but I think it's pretty cool that they are moving on to another indie. Gotta love the Cast.

I read this on a message board. I guess it's Deep Elm's reply... "Our goal at Deep Elm is to help out bands in whatever way possible. We've never required anyone to release a record with Deep Elm. If a band feels like there is a better opportunity out there, then we fully support and encourage them to pursue it. We'll continue to help in any way possible. After all, it's their music...not ours. We will continue to work with the Appleseed Cast, not only a professional level, but as friends. We recently released The Appleseed Cast's "Lost Songs" CD and will soon be releasing a full-length by Hundred Hands, which includes Chris Crisci and Aaron Pillar of Appleseed Cast." | Features
