"The totally DIY fest OrlandoFest now has a venue after a few months of searching. It will be held in the Cornell Fine Arts Museum @ Rollins College. The bands at this fest include Against Me!, xbxrx, Majority Rule, and many more. This fest takes place June 20th and 21st."

Against Me! - Gainesville's incredible folk/punk bringing you the passionate sing-a-long's.

xbxrx - Completely insane punk rock that you can totally get your dance on to!

Majority Rule - Probably one of the best bands on the face of the earth and hands down some of the coolest guys ever.

Plastic Mastery - Hailing from Tallahassee, FL., The Plastic Mastery plays what'd fall into the whole twee/indie pop genre… but really, that's unimportant. Check this band out if you aren't already familiar with them, because you don't want to be the only kid there not getting your dance on. If you want to see a band that makes Mr. Richard Barnocky really shake his ass, this is it.

Books On Tape - Electronic punk influenced awesomeness.  I like to think of it as if the Pixies enjoyed themselves a healthy dose of 2003 with some hip hop beats and started using electronic equipment. But all the while, keeping it original and fun… and the illest jams that cover coast-to-coast. If you're an old-schooler, you'll remember this man from his performance at Magic Fest '01.  And its even better now. Go figure! Educate yourself with the new

record or some mp3s from his website.  But…

Throw Down Your Laptops is something serious.

Kylesa - This band from Savannah, GA is comprised of ex members of Damad and Cobra Kai, and where you may hear those influences, this band can more than stand on its own.  They're an awesome punk band with a very prominent metal influence.

Dispensing of False Halos - Melodic metal from Iowa. This band rules.

Kodan Armada/Crying VS. Caring -  Kodan Armada are from Louisville, KY and probably the coolest dudes on the face of the earth.  Me and three of the KY boys crammed 15 people into a small hotel room during the first magic fest.  Boy, do I have some swell memories of these guys.  Oh yeah- they play very passionate and intense screamy hardcore and their singer is Czech pop sensation Cory Popp.  Crying VS. Caring is K.A.'s singer, Dan, doing his solo thing.  And it is not trite singer/songwriter crap. It's good!

Cream Abdul Babar - Tallahassee's masters of noisy punk.

Mannequin - Damn this band is good. If you're thinking Nirvana, Melvins, Karp, you're pretty close.  It features some ex-members of a band that played both magic fests. A band we all love.

Crestfallen - awesome thrashy punk played by kids with some serious heart.  These dudes blew me away at Magic Fest '01 and then again last summer at the OBT warehouse.  They were great to begin with, but have gotten 100 times better.

I Would Set Myself On Fire For You - This melodic screamy hardcore band hails from Atlanta, GA.  I've heard so many good things about their live show and I can't hardly wait to witness it.

Carrie Nations - Great sing-a-long pop punk from Athens! Actually, not great, but incredible. Their full-length, Be Still, is one of the best records to have come out this year. And last year and any year, really. Reactionary Three - R3 are one of the best bands I've heard in a long time.  They play awesome screamy punk rock.

Blue Eyed Boy Mister Death - is an awesome band from Alabama.  Punk rock, hardcore, whatever. They're somewhere here but not there.  There is a song on their website to scope out!

Revenge Therapy - Awesome dudes playing fast pissed of punk rock/hardcore.  From Virginia (so you know its good.)

Kite Flying Society - Orlando's sweethearts.  When they're not "Keeping '95 Alive," they're catering parties.

The South - The South hails from St. Augustine and just destroys.  They play very fast punk rock with a great message and passion.

New Mexican Disaster Squad - Orlando's pride and joy.  NMDS are an old-school influenced punk rock band with a very original touch. This is THE band. Airoes - One man dance attack. If merzbow got his hip hop on, then it'd be Airoes.

Tyranny of Shaw - Awesome fast thrashy killer dudes from Miami. They are going to be splitting their set with their friends in Adore Miridia. The Holy Mountain - Fast punk influenced hardcore from Tampa. members of the combatwoundedveterinarians or something.  The K10 Prospect - are from Bloomington, Indiana.  The intense heaviness of Tragedy with the tech mess of The Fucking Champs with some great vocals reminiscent of Husker Du. I am excited to see these dudes bring it.

The Color of Violence - Featuring everyone's friend, Chad Crews, this band is bringing some seriously heavy sounds.  Very fast, very loud.

From First to Last - FFTL is basically COV minus Chad Crews playing some great angular pop punk with an edge.   A Game Of You - Everyone wishes they were in a band as good as this when they were these kids' ages.  A great up and coming band from Lake Mary/Daytona.

The Traveling Carnies - And for something completly different, local independent sketch comedy heroes will perform a short set of skits for you all. Check these guys out, they're the real deal when it comes to no hold's barred comedy.

Closed Casket Diary - little Orlando dudes playing serious metal influenced hardcore.

What's Yr Damage? - Well this is my band. I know you're all thinking "haha that dude put his own band on the fest." OK you're right… haha. We bring fun to a new level. Dead Bird - This is the best thing on earth. Seriously. Better than best.

Baby Dracula - Surf goth punk. It's hot!
