Dead Droid Records have posted an MP3 off Mock Orange's upcoming album entitled "Mind Is Not Brain." The MP3 is of the title track, and can be downloaded here.
In other MO news, the band recently had Chris Strong do the photography for their upcoming album. Strong is responsible for artwork for recent albums by the Promise Ring, Armor For Sleep, Hey Mercedes, Spitalfield, and many more.

I've had the new album for nearly 3 months now. It is really good. By far the best thing they have ever done. Not bad for a couple of guys from Jewburgh.

i adore this band but this song is terrible. it sounds like another bad les claypool project. oh, and mock orange never ripped off braid. braid wishes they had half the talent mock orange has. nines and sixes = a million times better than any of the members of braid will ever do. 1+ Reply

The new Mock Orange is just unbelievable. These guys are so in touch with something so real & important. The music is fresh, but what they're channeling is as old as can be. This is truthful music, alive with life & colored with so many of it's sentiments. Flowing water can never grow stagnant - what a way to always move they sure have. Bravo! GOP | Features
