Rocky Votolato Posts New Songs

us that fresh off tours with Small Brown Bike and The Casket Lottery, Rocky Votolato has posted two new MP3's on his website. The songs are from "Suicide Medicine," which will be released on September 16th. Earlier this year Second Nature Recordings released a single for "Light and Sound" from the record. Votolato will be touring with the New Amsterdams at the end of the summer.

that pic rules. i have a question..when he plays live does he have a backing band like on the cd's or is it just him & guitar???

it was just him when i saw him. i thought he was going to have a full band because they set up drums and couple more amps but they were just saving time setting up casket lottery's stuff then. if he ever has a full band with him i hope he doesn't use them on songs that are just him and his guitar. i hate that. and thank you for liking the picture. i'll try and have the others up on a site soon if you'll want to check them out. -greyicewater

last time i saw him, he used the gatsby's american dream guys as his backup band. he played a ton of songs with them, and then a few alone that broke the fucking crowd down. it was in a loud bar and half way through the first solo song, the whole bar was fixated right on him. completely amazing.

rocky rules, i hear stallone is really beefing up for the new movie oh wait not that rocky, i thonk rocky is one the best things going on in melodic music, waxwing's one for the ride and madmen are two of my fav cds. my gf got this cs at the casket lottery show last week , truly great
