Ex D Generation frontman interviewed on NPR

"Jesse Malin used to be the frontman for glam-punk group D Generation, which disbanded in 1999. But his new CD, "The Fine Art of Self Destruction" sounds has more of a roots rock sound similiar to Bruce Springsteen than Johnny Rotten. NPR's Linda Wertheimer talks with him and the interview can be heard here."

he does do a cover of "questioningly" by the ramones that is pretty good though.

I was never a fan of D Generation. Glam-punk? I don't think. Glam-punk was T. Rex. Now there was a good band. I don't really get the hype on Jesse Malin, Ryan Adams and Whiskeytown are a million times better.
