SideCho Records band Death On Wednesday[reviewed here] announced their breakup yesterday on their webpage. A statement reads:
"On Wednesday, the 19th of November 2003, DEATH ON WEDNESDAY ended what has been an unbelievable run. Three of us wanted more than anything to push forward, and start a new chapter , but for one, it was time to throw in the towel. On behalf of the three of us that would have liked to share more of what we felt DxOxW had to offer, thank you."
The statement goes on to mention that the band's webpage will stay up to keep fans informed of new projects emerging. The band also mentioned that they will be putting up a brand new set of merchandise shortly that will be only available from their webpage. Click READ MORE for the full statement.

Thank you from the very bottom of these black hearts of ours… we have sang together, pumped our fists in the air together, cried together, fought together, and bled black together for these last five years… we will never forget you. We also owe a great debt to our friends from the road, the bands that we had the esteemed privaledge of sharing the stage with… we learned soooo much from all of you and wish you nothing but the best. Thank you all for everything you gave us… we only hope that we can one day repay the debt.
On a side note, stay tuned to www.deathonwednesday.com, as it will not be going anywhere anytime soon! We will be using it as a forum to inform you all of the exciting things still to come from the individual members of DEATH ON WEDNESDAY! Also, we will be releasing our newest batch of merchandise, which includes two (2) NEW girls T's, three (3) NEW guys T's, a NEW zip up hoodie, trucker hats, girls panties (lil' boy briefs!!!), and black bandanas complete with the mark of the DEATH BOYS (A.K.A. DEATH RAGS). These items will be available ONLY on-line, and we will keep you posted as to where it will be available. This may very well be the last DxOxW merch EVER, so get it before it's gone!
On a final note, to all you DEATH BOYS and DEATH GIRLS… you know who you are… this band was as much yours as it was ours, and for all of this we must apologize. You have been the life blood of this band from it's inception, and you will always remain part of our souls. We shed one final black teardrop as we pound the last nail in this coffin of ours. Always remember… NEVER FORGET, and NEVER SAY DIE!!! With love and No Regrets,
