"Bifocal Media will be coming out with a new version of Braid's video "Killing A Camera" which is now only available on VHS. KAC DVD will feature another 30-60 minutes of new interviews, songs that never made it on the original VHS version, and Extra non playing stuff that didn't make it into the VHS version of the flick. Expect this to be ready to go by summer and have a look/listen to other stuff we're doing in the meantime."

Not to be all punk rock or something, but the new Hey Mercedes blows! Its so freaking generic and predicatable than Evernight Fireworks ever was. If it wasn't for Bob Nanna's voice, you couldn't even tell its Hey Mercedes anymore. I urge people who haven't heard Braid before (the 2 of you) go out and get their stuff. Most fans agree that their best material is on the Movie Music volumes since their best work was not on their albums. Frames And Canvas rules though... 4+ Replies

I think Frankie Welfare Boy is awesome, I really like 57 Broken Wings. Some of my most fav. songs come from Age of Octeen. The 7 inch with Strawberry Ann was really good too. I saw them at 403 Chaos in Tampa in 98 and they were really good live.

This fucking rules. I was at their last Metro show, and due to my ignorance, I had never heard more than a couple songs by them before that. After missing half of Alk3's set (who I went to see) and sitting thru Sarge, I didn't have much hope that it would turn out to be a good show. But Braid came out and rocked my ass to Russia. I felt like a giant ass for not having checked them out sooner. In my opinion, Age of Octeen is absolutely unlistenable, Frame and Canvas is sweet, and Movie Music is hit and miss. 1+ Reply
