Lovitt Records has announced the signing of Supine To Sit. The group, containing ex-members of Roadside Monument and Sleepytime Trio, is described by Lovitt as "step[ping] away from the harder rock styles and abrasive dissonance in order to attain something more amiable and pensive. Supine is a quartet in the process of un-jading and making honest music." The label will be releasing the band's eight-song EP this spring; you can download an MP3 of the track "Presidential Hair" off the CD here.
