nofx only tour west coast and barely any east coast unless its warped tour or that tour they did back in 2002.. other than that they haven't been over here since SPRING 1998! what the fuck is wrong with them. they fucking suck 2+ Replies
CrankWillDestroy (March 11, 2004)
Fuck, no Colorado show. They could just come out from AZ or NV and play one little show. Authority ero? hmmmm
Someone (March 11, 2004)
Yeah this is some gayness with no East Coast show at all. I mean...fuck. 1+ Reply
Someone (March 11, 2004)
This tour should be boycotted based on the fact that they find it more necessary to go to fucking Eugene, OR than anywhere on the east coast. And what a way to encourage voters: every individual vote counts, but thousands of you aren't good enough to see this show. 2+ Replies

For all you east coast bitches, Why would anyone want to eat, breathe, or shit in the east coast? The people are loud, obnoxious, and little ignorant. The best thing for this country is to split it in half along the Mississipi and make the eastern portion a second rate Canada. Good idea, eh? 22+ Replies
Someone (March 11, 2004)
Guys, this is the first tour....they will do the east coast and hopefully Texas(1 show in Texas announced) in the fall. They also need to do Ohio and Florida. 2+ Replies

No east coast shows? Fuck them. NOFX sucks anyway. Fat Mike needs to shut his hole. Hey, Dubya doesn't tell Fat Mike how to do his job. 4+ Replies

wouldn't it make sense for this tour to at least hit florida? i mean, come on, that's a no brainer. on top of that, wouldn't it make sense for this tour to at least hit the midwest and states like ohio and michigan? no republican has ever won the white house without carrying ohio, and ohio currently has a 6.5% unemployment rate, which is higher than the nation average, not to mention ohio industries have lost over 160,000 jobs since bush took office. but, i wouldn't expect fat mike or the fine folks at punkvoter.com to think about shit like that because they rarely bother to check a lot of the stuff they put on their site for accuracy (which explains why you mysteriously see it disappear later). don't get me wrong, i want bush and his neoconservative cronies to get the boot out of washington just as much as the next guy, but just because you've got a cause doesn't show rest of comment 1+ Reply

i mean sure i could make it to 5 of those shows and i probably will go to most of them because i live in southern california. hell the tour is even comming to my school (UCSB). but even i think its lame that a tour that is trying to get people to vote and spread a message is only plsying mostly CA dates. waste of a fucking tour.

1) "Click READ MORE for all confirmed dates thus far." 2) Why Jello Biafara and Authority Zero? 3) This had better be a Metro show in Chicago. Minor Threat 4+ Replies

Uhhhh... ever think that it's the 1st leg of the tour and the east coast leg might be later in the year?
GregSka (March 11, 2004)
It's so true.. this looks like a typical Nofx tour, not a strategically planned anti-bush (or "voter awareness") campaign. I'm sure there's way more important dates being planned right now.
Someone (March 11, 2004)
They can't have an extended tour. Most of these bands are committed to the Warped tour. However, it would be nice to at least spread these shows across the nation.

*I set all-time record for the biggest drop in the history of the stock market.
*I am the first president in decades to execute a federal prisoner.
*In my first year in office I set the all-time record for most days on vacation by any president in US history (tough to beat my dad's, but I did).
*After taking the entire month of August off for vacation, I presided over the worst security failure in US history.

I would assume you guys are smart enough to see that they are playing the liberal states FIRST because they will be hitting up the Bush/Swing states later in the year. PunkVoter is supposed to be a NATION WIDE TOUR. Let's not forget how many bands are on this comp they're putting out. Something tells me that they will be grabbing some much bigger bands for the more important states where a few thousands votes actually matter! So stop complaining about a lack of East Coast or some shit like that. They'll be there soon enough, but probably around September or October. Playing bigger shows with more prominent bands at that. Not that Alk3 and NOFX aren't huge... And I like Authority Zero so... yeah. 1+ Reply

you know to be honest...the majority of people who go see the tour are already voting agianst bush anyway...either that or ineligible to vote
Someone (March 11, 2004)
It's not about raising awareness. It's more about raising some Cash for Fat Mike and Erin's progeny. Not even playing Florida - the state that Cost the Democrats the election 4 years ago! Guys, it's OK to leave home once in awhile. Really. 2+ Replies

keep them out west. we dont want these morons on the east coast. the bands all suck anyway. fat mike : "rock against bush! we gotta get him out of office!" me : "why?" fat mike : "he's an idiot." me : "what do you mean?" fat mike : "i dont know. he's just a dumbass. i hate him. vote democrat." me : "but i still dont understand why im supposed to vote against him..." fat mike : "he's stupid. and im punk, aren't i supposed to be against the government. bush is the best thing that ever happened to punk rock because now we have something to write crappy songs about, besides clams, hardcore drugs, and monosyllabic girls. i just feel so much cooler now because i have a cause that im fighting for. sure i dont really know why, but that's beside the point." fat mike - i hope you die 7+ Replies

Initially he said there would be two to three legs of this tour, so I am sure they will hit the east coast at some point. Probably in late August, because I thought I read somewhere they are going to do a show during the republican convention in NYC... 1+ Reply

"The tour focuses mainly on the West Coast and Southwest" -- I would say that is somewhat of an understatement...I think this tour is needed a lot more here in the Southeast. 1+ Reply
