Billboard has reported that former Black Flag vocalist Henry Rollins has confirmed plans to participate in a USO/Armed Forces Entertainment tour of the Persian Gulf as part of May's National Military Appreciation Month. Rollins previously traveled to Afghanistan and Qatar last December as part of a meet-and-greet with troops.

The industry mag is also reporting that Rollins will follow suit with Sex Pistols guitarist Steve Jones and become a host on Los Angeles radio station Indie 103.1 (Jones hosts the twice weekly Jonesy's Juke Box) . Rollins will take over the 7 to 9 p.m. slot starting on Monday May 17th. A weekly show is expected to begin on June 7th. Rolling will offer opinions and play music from his own collection.
