Do they think they're Thursday now or something? Let's take that good poppy punk sound and add a crazy yelling dude to it! WTF? I really liked the older stuff I'd heard, but this is ass. 5+ Replies

This was anti-climatic. Does anyone remember that band Discount? This sounds like Discount with Thursday mixed in. I did like the other two songs that I heard on the page. This new one doesn't really excite me much. Is this the best song on the new album? I hope not. 1+ Reply

I don't think this sounds terribly different from their previous stuff. In fact, it sounds very similar to "Swimming Through Molasses" from The Ultimate Escape. 1+ Reply

yeah this song is not that great, but not terrible.... they have MUCH better songs on their older releases. i love tsunami bomb though, im seriously praying that this is a good record....

Dear Tsunami Bomb, You are my favorite band. Your EP and CD "The Ultimate Escape" are my two most listened to CDs of all time. Whatever changes you've made in the past year, please undo them. Thank you. Your biggest fan 7+ Replies

Is it me or does Tsunami Bomb lose a vital element every time they record? First no keyboards- I wanted to cry Now no fun- Still crying cause Im bored to tears I wish they still had the real lineup, this shit blows. It's like they've lost all their creativity... maybe they need a muse or something 2+ Replies

so far...2 problems... a) recording feels way too dry. maybe its cause its a stream. b) 2 words....alkaline bomb. 3+ Replies

Why do the backing screams sound like they were recorded by mics covered in shit?
Someone (June 27, 2004)
Well I am not impressed and I have been a fan for a while. All this debate about how important Dominic was I guess its obvious to me now that he was. I agree with the above post, I miss the orginal line up. This is lame, and this isn't Tsunami Bomb anymore. Listen to Take the Reins and The Invasion from Within on that purevolume page and tell me that Dawn on a Funeral day is your favorite of the three and I'll be suprised. This is not a progression, its a step backwards. Bad Alkaline Bomb indeed. 2+ Replies

It's good to know that real punks still exist. For all the folks who will not settle for anything just because a band has a following...I solute you. You are the reason why this kind of music is so important to me. Most bands want to start off "doing the right thing" and claiming that they are in it because of their love for the scene, but throw in a few compliments and some sponsers, along with a steady fan-base and most bands lose site of what their so-called purpose was. This also useally means they were never punk to start with. I love music and always will and i'm glad to see that some people aren't letting shitty music slip by anymore. fuck you die

I heard Matt Skiba nailed Agent M like a jizz jar and never spoke to her again. She got knocked up with his kid and then went and fucked Tsunami's bass player and then tried to tell him that she was carrying his bun in the oven but he wasn't having it and was afraid he'd get played out like Kobe. On a drunken rampage, Tsunami Bomb's walking meth lab of a drummer and cokehead guitar player double teamed Agent M and kicked her in the stomach until she miscarried and now what's left of the band is blowing the staff at Kung Fu just to get this record released. They're all hooked on the H and will hit their knees in a heartbeat just to get a fix. Apparently the new bass player is also a tranny on weekends. 2+ Replies

okay tsunami bomb are great.,.dawn on a funeral day is great.,.their old stuff is great.,.their new stuff is great.,.its just great great great and GREAT. so please shut up and if you haven't got anything nice to say then don't say anything at all. agent m is in fine shape so don't anyone dare say she is piling on pounds.,.you obviously have weight problems of your own and so you are just trying to put others down to make yourself feel better. leave it.,.its pathetic! so yeah can't wait til the album comes out.,.upset i've gotta wait an extra 2 months.,.but from what i heard at their uk tour its gonna be just as grande as all their other stuff :) DistilledCleoPie 2+ Replies

TSUNAMI BOMB ROCKS
This song is better than any of the old Tsunami Bomb stuff. I've seen the band live recently and the new bass player is better than Dominic. Agent M looks hot as ever. The band is at their peak. In fact, they are a better band then they have ever been before--they are even better than any other band in the history of music. And they are still totally punk rawk. They are the punkest band ever and anyone who disagrees is wrong!
The band and their management know best and are smarter than any of the fans--unless you're a fan who loves the new songs and agrees that the band is better than ever before. Any fans who miss the old songs or Dominic are wrong and they should be ashamed to say so or mention it on a message board. They should especially feel ashamed to mention it on the Tsunami Bomb message board and their posts should be censored or deleted show rest of comment 3+ Replies

Well it goes without saying really that the new song is BRILLIANT cause anyone with any taste in music can hear that it is such progress for the band, part of tsunami bomb which makes them so great is that every record and every song is original and fresh. The people above seem anally retentive and should quit while they are behind, like the crap they have uttered out are going to have any effect on REAL tsunami bomb fans. Those people aren't 'true punks' just for being utterly moronic.
I can not wait for the new TB album it's gonna be RAD - especially from hearing some of the songs live on their recent UK tour - their first UK headlining date SOLD OUT. How does it feel to be so critical to make up for your losses? Check out the new album and then honestly tell me they haven't progressed, I doubt you'll be able to do that with conviction.
Alk3 are also an amazing ban
