The Constantines have a number of festival shows lined up for the summer. On July 17th they'll head to Coney Island, NY for the free Siren Music Festival with bands like Death Cab For Cutie, Mission Of Burma, TV On The Radio, The Thermals, The Ponys, Your Enemies Friends and more. You can find all the details and full lineup on the fest's website.
Afterwards the band is Klondike-bound to play the Dawson City Music Festival in Dawson, Yukon. They'll be playing with an eclectic mix of Canadian bands from a wide range of genres. After an August 5th date at The Ford Plant in Brantford, Ontario as part of the Murdered City Music Fest the band will be in Toronto for an August 7th show on Toronto Island with Broken Social Scene, Sloan, The Stills, Sam Roberts and more. This band is on sub pop, not three gut. Stop trying to say otherwise. I normally wouldn't use caps, but i'm yelling to get your attention and make you switch the icon. 1+ Reply

This is one of the most boring bands to come out of Canada other than the weakerthans. The day I see the names 'sloan', 'bss', 'the stills' or 'sam roberts', on a punk site, is the day I take you off my favourites list. Just because subpop has the distro in the US doesn't make them any good. re: major labels suck ass for more reasons than you obviously know. | Features
