The first is "Revisionist" from their upcoming EP on Don Giovanni Records. The EP is called Songs About People...And Fruit n' Shit and is 8 new songs on a 12". This will be released "by October." They've also posted the song "Remember the Devillock" from the upcoming split 7" with Flamingo 50 on Ernest Jenning Records, also due out sometime this fall. Check them out at their MySpace…Don Giovanni to release Skynet debut, posts track from Ergs! album Don Giovanni Records has announced plans to release the debut from New Jersey-based outfit Skynet. The quartet plays three-chord pop-punk in the vein of the Ramones and Teenage Bottlerocket. Titled Revenge For Hire, you can check out two songs from the record here: "Leeloo" and "Blackout Blue." In related news, the label is also taking…Don Giovanni Records updates on Measure, Shape Shifter, Project 27 Don Giovanni Records has posted some updates on recent and upcoming releases. The Boston, MA-based label recently released the full length debut from The Measure [SA], titled Historical Fiction. As well, the label unveiled the debut 7-inch from The Shape Shifter (featuring ex-members of Down In Flames, Snakebite and Forward to Death). The label is also planning to release a new 7-song CDEP from the Ergs! titled Jersey's Best Prancers along with a release from Long Island's Project 27 titled Time To…Upcoming Ergs tour dates The Ergs have a number of shows scheduled in March and April in support of their 2005 Woah Oh full length Dorkrockcorkrod. The band will be playing a handful of dates in their home state of New Jersey, followed by further east coast touring with the Modern Machines.
