Facing New York have been forced to cancel their UK tour: Brandon is leaving Facing New York. We are canceling the UK tour in the wake of this. We decided that it wouldn't be right to make the journey with last minute replacement players. We want to offer the sincerest of apologies to our UK fans as well as the booking agency and other people that helped set this up. Facing New York is battling gas prices with other people's junk
Bay Area, California'sFacing New York have made some steps towards a more environmentally friendly tour. While on the road, they are traveling in a four door economy car, which in turn leads to borrowing instruments and not bringing merch. This is an attempt to save on fuel costs as well as lower emissions, as the band is also accepting donations to purchase carbon offsets. Five One's Japanese import, Eastern Youth have announced some US tour dates in March. The band will be supporting 365 Step Blues, only the second Stateside release from the perrenial post-punk act from Tokyo.
