An independent punk rock label located in Van Nuys (Los Angeles) California. The label was started in 1993 out of a 10 by 10 room. By reading a book called "How to Run an Independent Record Label" they figured out how to release a 7 inch vinyl record. Now, the label runs from a 3000 square foot warehouse and has new releases almost every month.

Named P is for Panda, the label is the project of Chad Pearson who founded and ran The Militia Group for 12 years. While the company initially began as a t-shirt company, Chad is now branching out into a proper indie label. Like Hopeless' other imprint, Subcity Records, P is for Panda has a strong charitable arm, with a third of its profits going to various charities. The five piece, just recently out of high school, hit the studio earlier this month to record for an unspecified future release on the label. In the meantime the group will be playing shows with Eye Alaska and the Summer Set as well as performing at several Californian Warped Tour dates.
