Apparently Vig will again be recording the band and noted: I'm starting pre-pro with them in a couple weeks for the next album, which we hope to start in August. Vig also recorded the band's Sire debut, New Wave. The record is expected in 2010. Against Me! will see…Death Cab for Cutie: "Little Bribes" Death Cab For Cutie have posted the new video from their 2009 EP, Open Door. The video came about in a unusual way, in that the video was actually created by a , the San Diego State University film school graduate, Ross Ching, who directed the video on his own. When band members saw the video, they opted to officially release the video and have enlisted Ching to helm a future video project for the label. Titled Eros, the album was a group of songs that featured currently hospitalized bass player Chi Cheng who was in a severe car accident. Says the band: The songs recorded for Eros are very special to us as they are the latest with Chi (and we certainly hope not the last); they have history and significant meaning to us.
