So here it is. Counterfit has finally released a full length CD. It took 2 times to record due to some unexpected road blocks, but it was well worth the wait. Although I was expecting something along the lines of 12-14 songs, we got 10. But that only meant more time could be spent on each song. I've waited for this album since the release of their lengthy EP last spring. I can only touch up on how I really feel about the CD because I have trouble finding the words describing how incredibly awesome I think this CD is. Please login or register to post comments. I saw this Band for the first time on Sunday September 12th, never heard of them before, the opened for Recover and FInch. This band did a great performance, after the show i got to meet the lead singer and guitarist they were really cool, down to earth and did not take anything for granted, during the show i got their cd, i took it home. The cd is awesome, been listening since i got in my car after the concert. perfect score my ass. I've seen this band live, and they sounded as good then as they do on this cd. who cares about the title . . . it's really good techie music that gets stuck in my head in a good way. Definately recommended by me. these guys sure do work hard and really don't get that much recognition... i think you read album titles, but that could just be me I think the band is pretty decent, but this is one of the worst album titles I have ever seen. Weak Review... I have personally never heard Counterfit before and was hoping for a description of what they acctually sounded like... Do some work before you review a cd... damn.. Steak IS good! Mmmm...steak. This cd is tied with The Velvet Teen - Out of the Fierce Parade for cd of the year. Amazing is all I have to say. There is no such thing as a song "not ment to be played live"- those songs are just shitty songs. As for this record- I'll try it out, if it's good then it's a shame that they can't perform live well. You reviewing this is like asking a beef farmer if steak is good. |
