This is ridiculous. Out of the 19 tracks on this CD, 5 are currently available for download on Epitaph's webpage [Pennywise, Division Of Laura Lee, Randy, Death By Stereo, and 98 Mute]. 2 are available on BYO Records webpage [you guessed it, the Rancid and NOFX tracks are both from the split]. At least 2 [that I can remember] have also been previously available for download on Epitaph's webpage [the Millencolin and Hot Water Music songs]. Even if you don't believe in downloading whole CDs, if you would have kept your eyes open you would have already downloaded half of this CD legally. Maybe it's just me, but I think that's lame. Not even close - listen to the mp3 off their upcoming album - thats the best hwm song ever all the bands are ok or good but guttermouth sucks and just them being in the cd makes the cd go down 5 points...epitaph should just drop this stupid ass band... GUTTERMOUTH BLOWS CHUNNKS, fuck them and their shit talkinng bull shit England, sorry. WHERE !?!?! Where are you people finding this for less than 20 ? Actually, make that less than 10,cause that's still too much for a compilation. Also, what about the first Hopelessly Devoted to You,anyone know about that one, anywhere ? I'm not even some kinda 'hardcore' punk or epitaph fan, but I've heard most of this already for free for god's sake! This is a lazy comp. At least the European version is bound to have some more lovely European Bands to listen to. 20 bucks is overpriced. you can get it for 12 or 13 (which is still overpriced imo). i got the feeling w/ this punkorama that w/ all the current 'punk' bands and the like booming right now like its fukin '94 again i think epitaph had non-fans or new fans in mind. if u didnt know dick about epi-bands this would be a gr8 comp. longterm fans want unreleased shit but often that isnt the catchyest stuff. if i was 15 and just saw the tinc on tv or somethning and bouthght this, or got it cuz it says 'punk' on the front and my friend told me saves the day, thursday, the hives, sum41, nfg, and blink were 'punk' i might buy it to find more bands. and shit what if they do? good for them. thats my take on this. kids htat may not have ever surfed to epitaph.com. they posted those for the fans. this is for the newbies. lata. epitaph makes por vol. 1 20 bucks because they know people will want to have them all, so why not make waaaaaaaaay too much money off of it. corporate bitches, fuck them. wannabe independent fagoid nigs POR 1 costs the same as a regular cd, no cheap price like the rest of em. go to interpunk.com and order it if you want. I have a few things to say... First,I bought this the day it came out at FYE because it almost rounds out my Punk O Rama collection. This is the worst POR so far,and that makes me sad.even the NOFX and Millencolin tracks failed to pique my interest. Also,am I the only one who got the free Extreme Sound Sample from Tower ? With another 10 tracks,it would have kicked the shit out of this POR,as it is,it's pretty good. Can anyone tell me where I can get the original Punk O Rama ? The only places I've found it,it's like 20 bucks, and I'm not paying that much for a compilation, even if would complete my collection,oh,i also need the Hopelessly Devoted to You comp. if anyone can help, post about it please. this'll be the first punk o rama that I don't buy Its funny how epitaph never links the reviews that recieve low scores to their website. The dropkick murphys song is Heroes from our Past off of Sing loud, Sing proud. You're an idiot. The only reason you pay for POR discs is because Epitaph has to pay to have it pressed, shipped, and all that fun. THEY DON'T HAVE TO DO ANY OF THIS WITH MP3s! Fucking pussies! Death By Stereo is one of the best bands Epitaph has right now. I asked this same question last time and I still cant find a track listing anywhere.... what dropkick murphys song is on this comp? Is it off of Sing Loud Sing Proud like on the previous 2 punk o ramas?-pat41 The Beatsteaks song kicks ass! How come the album is so hard to get? Yeah, I bought this album a few weeks ago and I can't say that there was anything memorable on there. Yeah...the HWM song rules bigtime- so does their other new track "Remedy"- I REALLY can't wait for the new album, it's gonna be great. HWM was the first band i ever saw live, about 4 years ago- it was by accident really- and they ruled. This album's gonna be killer. So is the new DBS album. I wont buy this, never was planning on it, but I'll say this in closing.. The only reason I'd get this is for TINC and Hot water music, but since Im going to get TINCS cd and the hwm song is DEFIANTLY FAR FROM THEIR BEST, Ill avoid to purchase this this is the first punk-o-rama that i didnt buy... there is absolutly no reason to get it. Epitaph needs to straighten themselves out. Guttermouth mp3 was available from Epitaph earlier as well. I don't think it's trite though. Best Hot Water Music song ever. |
